Farm and Mobile Services

We are dedicated to the health, well being, and comfort of all of the horses here at Sundry Farm. Whether they are ours or yours they are all teated like one of the family.

Our on site services:

Boarding Accomodations

We offer short or long term boarding, with large stalls and thick grass turnouts. All ages welcome with a separate barn for stallions. We provide a lay-over service to any horses who may be just travelling through our area and need a place to rest. We can accomodate large Semi trucks and trailers, and work with many commercial shippers at reasonable rates.

Lay-ups -

For all performance horses, time off is essential. We offer a serene environment for low stress time off. We can offer daily or monthly rates according to your needs.

After Care -

For recuperation, whether after hard work, a medical procedure, surgery, or almost any injury, we can provide a suitable atmosphere with caring, knowledgeable people to get your horse back to its full potential.

Broodmare Care -

For open mares preparing to be bred, we offer a program best suited to her needs including light increase to encourage estrous cycles, proper nutrition to obtain optimum fertility, vet checks as needed, booking to local stallions, and transport to local stallions to be covered. As well as experience with AI and embryo transfer. 

Foaling -

Pregnant mares will receive 24/7 monitoring and all the comforts we can supply. We assist in foalings as needed and foals are checked at birth, monitored closely, and then handled daily. Mares and foals are vet checked after 24 hours unless seen by the vet before that time. Every and all precautions are taken to ensure a good start.

Our mobile services:

Farm & pet sitting -

We also offer a farm sitting service for other farm owners that need to leave their farm for any amount of time where it would require a person to feed and care for their animals while they are away. We will provide a trustworthy, knowledgeable individual to come to your home and care for your animals just as you would. Our farm sitting services have been serving Marion County for over 4 years and we have many happy patrons that use us regularly.

Veterinary Technician and Assistant -

Our tech can come to your farm and assist you in handling minor issues you may have in treating minor injuries, administering medications, or handling for a Vet or farrier when you cannot. Our assistant is skilled in many areas from wound care, bandaging, and much more. Even if all you need is just an extra pair of hands, we are here to help.
